Bockenheimer Weinkontor in Frankfurt

So cool here, I'm looking forward to coming back after the lockdown!

Worst wine bar in Frankfurt. I do not recommend. Terrible service, no places to eat.

I've heard that if they don't speak German, I'm invited to go. Too bad.

A bar that ask people to lower the voice? They should be a church. Ok wines, but very poor on food options. When they decide to close, they simple kick you out.

It was our best friend’s birthday and they complained that we were being loud. But there was no one else in the room. Ridiculous!

The wine bar is located in the cellar and has a special flair. Something different because you can get your own drinks at the bar. This eliminates the need to wait until an operator takes notice of you. I will definitely be a guest there again. :-)

Nice atmosphere, good wine, nice staff, reservations on weekends are an advantage.

Difficult to discover if you don't know what you're looking for, but no longer an insider tip. :) Very nicely furnished indoor and outdoor areas invite you to linger (even if the chairs are a bit uncomfortable). The wine selection is great and reasonably priced. The (very) small dishes are delicious even if they are comparatively expensive. The staff is friendly, but at least we haven't come across a (red) wine connoisseur at the bar, which was a shame. All in all, definitely worth a visit. :)

Definitely one of our favorite spots in Frankfurt! - cozy and rustic wine bar hidden in one of the Bockenheimer backyards. Large wine list & good value for money. ??? We especially like the overgrown inner courtyard in summer.

Lovely, somewhat hidden gem. Very cozy atmosphere and good selection of wines.

It was a bit weird to find cause the stairs look like a dead end but the biergarten is super!

Unfortunately, the outside area was reserved at the weekend and when the guests came and we had to go in, the waitress only said that we should choose a place that was not reserved. Otherwise, there is a great selection of self-service wines at the bar.

Very nice location but the staff is incredibly unfriendly. Laughing on the terrace is not allowed and the advice was underground even though it is a wine bar.

Very nice environment

You can find here different types of good wine. I'm sure that, you can find a really good one for yourself, but i think it is a little expensive. There is no music inside, it was for me a little negative.

For sure the best place in Bockenheim for an afterwork drink. Cosy place, good snacks and a variety of wines. The owner, however, is very rude. She does not put customers first and is very unwelcoming. It seems like having good business is more of a burden to her than a joy. I recommend her selling the place and finding someone who actually enjoys life in gastronomy and working with people.

Friendly staff, interesting wines with a good price range from well affordable to high end. But it's biggest draw card is it's wine garden out the back. Just note this is the smoking area and German's love a smoke so it can be a bit hazy :-) Food selection is a little lacking hence 4/5 stars.

What a beautiful place to sit n chill with best selection of wine. A hidden place but if u ask around anyone will show the place.

Nice ambience. Lacking some music and its a bit pricey, but overall its a nice place.

Awesome place, especially in summer

Pleasant place to drink a glass of wine. The place is very crowded, so you have to come to the very opening to take a seat or get ready to drink while standing and wait until the place is free. Places you can try to book. In addition to wine, there are snacks, but you can not count on serious dishes. In general, the place is popular among young people.

Very nice wine bar in the middle of Bockenheim. Inside it is indeed (depending on how busy) very loud, but still highly recommended. The garden has been the highlight for me. Absolutely beautiful, even in winter! A visit will be worth it in any case :)

Wide selection of wines, and a fun crowd. Don't be an idiot and order a beer in a place famous for wines.

It is not easy to find, but it is a very lovely place, with great atmosphere, wide selection of wines and fine snacks.
